Peachy Keen Green Smoothie

For those days when you need that extra oomph, this smoothie will fill you up with juicy sweet peaches, hydrating romaine lettuce, and a little extra energy kick from the maca powder, an ancient Incan superfood.

  • 2 fresh peaches
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 2 cups (90 g) romaine lettuce
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 pitted medjool date
  • 1 cup (250 ml) almond milk
  • ⅓ cup (85 ml) apricot juice
  • 1 teaspoon maca root powder


1 Wash and pit the peaches.
2 Chop the celery into large chunks and place in a blender with the romaine lettuce, banana, date, and almond milk. Blend until smooth.

3 Add the peaches, apricot juice, and maca root powder and blend again. Pour into glasses and serve with a celery leaf garnish, if desired.
